If you purchased the weight loss supplement “For Women Only” on QVC then you could be receiving a refund check from the FTC. ?The FTC website is reporting that there will be over $6 million in checks mailed out to customers who purchased the weight loss supplement brand “For Women Only.” ?There will be approximately 140,000 checks mailed and the FTC urges customers to cash these checks as they are legitimate.


The amount of the check was determined by the amount each customer paid with the average for the checks being around $40. ?Not only is the FTC requiring QVC to pay for the $6 million in refund checks the company will also have to pay a $1.5 million civil penalty.

The FTC has worked very hard to protect consumers but it is also important for you to protect yourself. ?Before making any financial decision, even if it is purchasing a $40 weight loss supplement for women, it is very important to do your research and due diligence so you do not end up wasting money in the long run.
