It would be very wise to check your credit report at least once a year as there could be inaccuracies that will greatly affect the interest rates you receive on loans. If you continue to go through life without checking your credit history then there’s a good possibility that you could be wasting money on higher interest rates that are not conducive to your true financial status.

If there are inaccuracies on your credit report it is very wise to address them as soon as possible. You could see your credit score affected by as much as 100 points if you continue to let in accurate data remain on your credit report for a significant amount of time.
